Your host

Ryan Donahue

A relative newcomer but a rising star in the Madison comedy scene, Ryan co-hosts The Capitol Comedy Hour at The Rigby Pub & Grill.

His delivery is rapid-fire, and he enjoys musing on being the most uninteresting type of person: a straight white male.

Allie Lindsay

Allie is part country mouse, part city mouse, finally livin' her dream in the land of cheese. She grew up in the cornfields of IL, where she studied acting at WIU, focusing on voice and character work. In the early-mid 2000's, she lived in Chicago, and performed in various theater and sketch comedy productions. Since living in Madison, Allie has been in a handful of inde movies, music & promotional videos, and a TV pilot, but didn't make her stand-up comedy debut until spring of 2015. She was a writer and performer for the Madison-based sketch and variety show, "The Whoa Show", and is now the host of her own monthly show, "Comedy at the Cabaret". When the cat doesn't have her tongue, you might spot her scavenging through dumpsters behind an open mic or a showcase about town.

Adam McShane

Runner up in this year's Madison's Funniest Comic, Adam's performance aims to give audiences a structured version of his odd daily musings that most consider unfit for a response.
Besides his second-place showing at this year's Madison's Funniest Comic, Adam has opened for Gary Gulman, Brian Posehn, and Michael Che, and is a local favorite at the Comedy Club on State.

Charlie Kojis

Charlie Kojis has been performing standup comedy in Madison since 2014, during which time he has been described as “this generation’s Charlie Kojis.”

Combining his life experiences and general fears, Charlie blends traditonal joke telling with his own personal narrative. His dry delivery leaves audiences both laughing and wondering if he is as ok as he pretends to be. Charlie performs throughout the Midwest and has opened for comedians who include Tig Notaro, Gary Gulman, and Michael Che.

He was the winner of Madison's Funniest Comic 2016
