Woody Allen. Steven Wright. Emo Philips. Mitch Hedberg. These are all names. Kevin Schwartz is another example of a name. Kevin has opened for such comics as Rory Scovel, Al Madrigal, and Jon Dore, and has opened doors for such comics as Brian Regan and Mike Schmidt. Kevin lives in Madison and has the world's largest collection of awkward pauses.
What happens when you take an only child in a loud Italian family with an affinity for musicals, 90’s girl groups, and an endless amount of energy and give her a microphone?
Brittany Tilander moved up to Madison from Kansas City MO a little over 2 years ago. About a year into her adventure up north she finally decided to "give this comedy thing a go" and she's been crushing it since.
In the short year she's been in the scene she is making a name for herself in the Midwest, traveling to Milwaukee regularly and even to her old stomping grounds in KC. She's the newest addition to The Late Early Show as a writer and performer and has opened for Marty DeRosa at the Comedy Club on State.
It's hard to know what to expect from Brittany Tilander when she has a mic in her hand. I think it's safe to say she demands to be heard and she’s going to to put on a hell of a show. So put that in your pipe and smoke it!
